Singer Zeez Ordered by Court To Refund N22.3m to Record Label

Singer Zeez has been ordered by a Lagos High Court to refund the sum of N22.3million [N22,378,605.70 (Twenty-Two Million, Three Hundred and Seventy-Eight Thousand, Six Hundred and Five Naira and Seventy Kobo] to his record label HF Music registered as HF Media Limited.

The sum is said to be the total amount the record label has spent on him since he got signed with them.

Justice B.A. Oke-Lawal (Mrs.) delivered the ruling April 13th.

HF Music in June 2015 filed a case against the singer whose last big single is Atewo featuring Olamide. HF Music outlined Zeez inability to meet his obligations as outlined in his contract citing his inability to record songs as a big deal. The label claimed it was an uphill task to get him to record a 6 track EP he released in 2014
