Lil Nas X is putting together a new project and now he takes an interview on Power 106FM.

The 20-year-old Atlanta artist talks about being so young, “Old Town Road” climbing to number one in the world, mixing hip hop and country music, concept for the song, connecting with Billy Ray Cyrus, getting compared to Johnny Cash, memes, trolling a Beyoncé feature, dropping out of University, multiple streams of income, and more.

Billy Ray Cyrus recently thanked Lil Nas X for putting him on the song. He held a sign next to a Billboard poster that moreso credited Billy for the success. It read:

“I would not have this sign without Lil Nas X and Kio.”

Lil Nas X and Billy have become friends during their successful run. They even went horse riding together this week.
